Brandy Marinated Grilled Steak with Spinach and Blue Cheese

The brandy marinade gives these steaks a wonderful flavor and helps to tendrize them so they almost melt in your mouth. The spinach and blue cheese overlay bring this recipe to gourmet level, but is a snap to prepare. 


  • Pierce steaks with fork.
  • Rub each steak with minced garlic, oregano, salt and pepper to taste.
  • Gently pour brandy to coat steaks.
  • Marinate, turning occasionally for at least one hour prior to grilling.
  • Grill steaks to desired temperature.


  • Sautee spinach. (Add mushrooms if desired.)
  • Warm the blue cheese and mix in with drained spinach.

Top grilled steaks with the prepared spinach sauce.
